Introduction to the characteristics and structure of integrated circuits

2024-06-15

1. Characteristics of integrated circuits:

Integrated circuits have the advantages of small size, light weight, less wires, less spot welding, long service life, high reliability, good performance, low cost, and convenient production. It is not only widely used in industrial and civilian electronic equipment such as recorders, televisions, and computers, but also widely used in military, communication, remote control and other fields. The installation density of electronic products can be tens to thousands of times higher than that of transistors, which can greatly improve the stable working time of the equipment.

2. Integrated circuit structure:

The circuit is generated on a silicon substrate, and the circuit has at least one lead-out/input pad. The silicon substrate is generated on the silicon substrate around the circuit and the lead-out/input pad. The grounding ring is generated between the silicon substrate and the lead-out/input pad and is electrically connected to the fixed ring. The guard ring is set on the silicon substrate and is electrically connected to the fixed ring around the lead-out/input pad.
