The DS90UB947-Q1 device is an OpenLDI to FPD-Link III bridge device independently researched and developed by Texas Instruments. This product performs well and supports video resolutions up to WUXGA and 1080p60 (24-bit color depth).
The included FPD-Link III interface supports video and audio data transfer over the same differential link, as well as full-duplex control (including I2C and SPI communications).
The DS90UB947-Q1 device supports up to WXGA and 720p resolution (24-bit color depth) on a single differential link in backward compatibility mode. It also supports receiving multi-channel audio through an external I2S interface, the resulting audio data will be encrypted and sent out through the FPD-LinkIII interface. Finally, it is regenerated by the deserializer.
