The SPC563M64L5COAY device is a 32-bit automotive microcontroller. It belongs to a family of system-on-chip (SoC) devices. The SPC563M64L5COAY device incorporates many new features and uses high performance 90 nm CMOS technology. Therefore, the functional cost of the device has been greatly reduced, and the performance has also been improved.
STMicroelectronics used Power Architecture® technology to build the advanced and cost-effective host processor core of the SPC563M64L5COAY device.
The device has an external bus interface (EBI) for "calibration". It also features a single-level memory hierarchy, including up to 94 KB of on-chip SRAM and up to 1.5 MB of internal flash.
